A friend recommended Boss’s Daughter when we visited Mornington for a pancake treat as this is her family’s favourite place. The cafe has a warm ambiance, comfortable sitting area for family with little kids and the staffs are friendly. We were on Sunday morning and the cafe were packed, we waited for 10-15mins to get a table for 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. It was a smooth waiting experience. The pancakes were excellent even just a simple one, which was the highlight of this cafe. But what surprised me more was the other dishes. Went here today for the first time on a very busy day. I felt for them as their seating is pretty limited and compact but they did their best with the demand. We finally got a seat and ordered. I like their menu, plenty of vegan options. We did wait 20min for our coffee which was lukewarm so a little disappointed. But the food came out shortly after and I enjoyed my meal which was the saving grace. It is a little expensive, $60 for two meals and coffee. Would come back again.
This lively café was a great choice for breakfast. The service was friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed the Wild Mushroom dish, although I wished the croquettes were a bit larger—still, they were delicious! The poached egg was cooked to perfection and came with buttered toast, which is quite rare when you order Eggs Your Way. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Sorrento.
I have celiac disease and am fructose intolerant, but the chef was very eager to accommodate my dietary needs. The food was delicious, the staff were extremely friendly, and it was also very kid-friendly, although that didn’t stop us from enjoying a meal without the kids. It’s a fantastic place, and I will definitely return!

Good coffee! I had the corn fritters (pictured) they were very tasty: really fresh, light, and well balanced meal. The indoor seating has a great atmosphere, and staff were lovely! However I think it's a bit overpriced compared to other similar quality cafes/restaurants on the peninsula.
Very friendly, accommodating staff. No wait to get a table on a Sunday morning. Dishes attractively presented but a little on the pricey side. One smashed avo, orange juice and coffee came to $47!!!! One negative: Sourdough toast was so tough it could not be cut.
It was a bustling restaurant, but I was seated quickly. The food was of excellent quality. Despite the crowd, the friendly staff served me promptly, and my meal arrived in no time. The fried chicken burger was fantastic, and I will definitely return!
Service here is terrible. Rude stuff. They forgot a number of the things we ordered and told us that we never ordered them. When we showed them our order to prove we had paid for it, they didn't apologies. Don't eat here
