After Adam's closed down, I decided to try this place and was absolutely thrilled! It's fantastic, and we've been regulars ever since. Today, we were served by a new waiter named Tyler, who was simply amazing. He was polite, cheerful, and funny, stopping by our table frequently to check on us and clearing away our dishes whenever we placed them on the edge, which is something so few people do these days. If you go, definitely try the Epic Benedict or the French Toast; both are fantastic! The bacon and tater tots are also excellent. The only reason the Budd Lake Diner is getting second star is because they were flexible and able to accommodate our large party that arrived slowly over 30-45 minutes. Other than that, the food was quite terrible. The Monte Cristo was not good. The chicken and waffles had non-stick grease all over it and was chicken tenders they recently deep fried. Their corn hash beef comes from a can as well. Just not great all around.
Update 6/30/24: Ordered the Matzoh Ball Soup. Have eaten it here before it's always been excellent. However, today the soup was warm, not hot the Matzoh ball was cold inside. The soup had very little vegetables, as well. It was like they took a Matzoh ball from the fridge plopped it in the bowel of soup. When I broke the ball up, it made the soup cold. Luckily, it was taken off my bill.
My daughter didn't like her food and the waitress very politely asked and got her something different. It was a great experience and service more than the food was excellent.

Came back to Jersey and wanted a Jersey Diner experience. This place is exactly what I was looking for! Good food, friendly wait staff, atmosphere ... all 5 star!
It seems like the diner has definitely seen better days. The food wasn't very enjoyable, and the cashier's area was quite messy.
I went here for breakfast and found the place quite busy. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Have been enjoying meals at this diner for over 40 years.. the Greek Salad with Grilled Salmon, my favorite!
