I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation for 8 o'clock on Saturday, but when I arrived, the restaurant was very cold. The starters, poppadoms and pickle tray, only had three uninspiring dips (missing lime pickle). The drinks were overpriced and served in a can. The main course was bland and the portions of rice, naan, and chips were small and expensive. This curry house is overpriced, with poor quality food and a tired atmosphere. My wife even mentioned that the restroom smelled terrible. We couldn't wait to leave. This restaurant was a major letdown. Firstly, it cost us twice as much as we usually spend. When we placed our order, two items were missing. We had to go back to get them, and were only given an extra papadum as compensation. The food was only average. For example, the chicken tikka main dish cost £12.95 for 7 pieces, but my chicken tikka starter only had 5 pieces, essentially making us pay £6 for two extra pieces. Ridiculous! It's unfortunate because we are only here for the weekend and this experience was a disappointment. I usually don't complain, but I was really annoyed tonight.
we booked when it was a BH weekend. the restaurant was very busy, and there were only two employees on the floor. the two men were very attentive. eating was absolutely delicious, and the house white was really good. would be recommending
The food at this restaurant was simply delicious. I can't wait to go back. The poppadoms with tasty dips, the superb mixed starter, and the amazing chicken tikka were all fantastic.
