The reason you order take out is so you’re in and out. The take out parking has about 4 spots and they have about 10 people trying to park. I had to go around the main parking and then go all the way to the back of the restaurant to get the food. I wish they’d fix and organize the whole parking for take out for better flow. All in all pizza was ok but I couldn’t really appreciate it anymore since the other people getting take out already spoiled my appetite for not giving way for cars already in cue to park.
The buzz surrounding Buddy's is absolutely justified. Our experience was top-notch from start to finish. Despite arriving shortly before closing time at 9:05pm, we never felt pressured or unwelcome. The waiter was excellent and attentive, showing that the staff truly values providing a high-quality dining experience. We tried the Detroit Public TV specialty pizza and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We had a family birthday party and were placed in an area that was somewhat private and the family could walk around and mingle with each other. Food was good and service was ok. I had to ask for my drink twice and thia happen two times. They should have had more help. The manager should have gotten in more help.
This was my first time dining in at Buddy's. The pizza was fantastic and the Greek salad was also tasty. The freshly made Buddy's pizza was much better than the reheated takeout version. The beer with grapefruit was excellent as well. I definitely plan on returning next time I am in Detroit.

The pizzas were fantastic! The server was excellent, very attentive and efficient. Despite being crowded and noisy, the food was really delicious.
I absolutely love their gluten-free pizza, especially the Mediterranean flavor. It is definitely the best I have ever had!
