It's easy to see why this place is so highly rated by visitors and locals. We stopped by for breakfast and both our Denver omelette and classic were great. The coffee was delicious. Even though this place was packed the service kept or drinks filled and we're there for anything we needed. We decided to eat here on a Friday night after going through West Glacier National Park and before going to our cabin. Very busy but we were seated fast. Friendly courteous staff. We both got burgers. Buns were made fresh that morning, beef freshly ground that morning, toppings were very flavorful. Also got the parm fries. All delicious....and I 'm very picky about my food! As advertised!!!! Got a perfectly cooked rare burger. That 's all I asked for. Has A+ rating by health dept (pay 3x more at 48 bistro for C rated poison... no joke). They are a local Cafe and should be proud. They aren 't pretending to be anything but good home cooked meals. I 'd eat their meatloaf everyday over other close by places that punch above their weight class with poison tartar and wagyu B.S. This is a classic Cafe that makes you feel welcome and full because they serve unpretentious good food. They know their lane, and the stay perfectly in it. That lane is good clean comfort food like mom makes.
Ate breakfast (around lunch time) today (1/26/2022) and had some good food. A busy place, but the service was good overall. I had the chorizo burrito and my wife had the eggs Benedict. Both were good. Make sure you add the green chili hot sauce to the burrito, that sauce was good. Place was clean, and easy to find. They might consider putting a couple pictures in the bathroom to cover up the empty space on the walls. Good job Buffalo Cafe in Whitefish!

The Buffalo Cafe is a nice little Jewel in Whitefish that we love to visit when we are there. the only drawback is that it's in such high demand that there's a wait time to get in. which is worth it in our opinion. the food is excellent, the staff for ARE GREAT, and the prices are fairly reasonable as well. it'd be nice if they could somehow expand their venue to accommodate more customers
Edited after my comment received a reply from buffalo cafe. Burger was good and the batty was very nice meat, as well as the buns were nicely fluffy. The jalapeño served in the hellfire burger is finely chopped and integrated into the ingredients. Not my favorite- but inquiring about this before ordering is an easy fix. So good we ate here twice in a day! We were recommended breakfast and burgers from Buffalo Cafe during our Whitefish stay and they did not disappoint. 1000% recommend the Bacon Avocado Benedict, it was amazing. Our evening waitress Kellie was the sweetest person on the face of the planet. Great atmosphere too. We will definitely be back for more!
Local breakfast legend did not disappoint. Saturday late morning was a 45 minute wait, you add your name to the list and they have a great texting service so you can wander to the shops on all sides, or read the local fish tales while you wait for your epic meal.

Amazing soup (roasted garlic and onion) and pretty good chicken sandwich. Just wish I would have gotten the fries instead of the carrots. The waitress was so nice and amazing. Had a wonderful time here and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Very good food. Happy we picked this place for their bison meatloaf and elk enchiladas.
