Took my son to the Restaurant in Vire as local Restaurant were closed. I am glad we did as we had a very nice meal. The complimentary said was a nice touch with warm rolls. I had a Trappers Salad and there was so much to eat and it was presented nicely and was tasty, My son had the Famous Burger, which he enjoyed. The highlight of the visit was the Waiter "Jerome" What a lovely guy, so friendly and attentive and despite being English still learning French, he was very tolerant and helped us out with his skills in English, which was much better than my french. It was about two years since we visited this place. Started well with a small complimentary cold salad Better than last time because we were served brown lettuce. Then the free popcorn arrived. There was a very good varied menu and I was looking forward to my main dish. The range of desserts looked very appealing too. regretfully I found the steak very chewy, so much so that I couldn't swallow it but chips were lovely. It may be a cultural thing as the restaurant was buzzing with people.
I came here reluctantly while on a factory visit in the area. I have had Ted Turner's buffalo in Atlanta so it wasn't a novelty to have buffalo. I opted for a steak. It was rare - not medium & impossible to cut - yes it seemed THAT raw & the knife was THAT dull. Insipid fries as well. It merely proves that chains in France are no better than chains in the US or Canada or Italy . . .
Went here to celebrate, the meal was poor and customer service was appalling ordered a 500 ml beer which when delivered was about 4 cm from the line and all was froth, complained and beer was taken away came back approx 2 cm from the 500ml guide complained again and the guy on the bar completely ignored the issue........ Bad service not what you would expect from this chain

had the ribs, obviously precooked and heated in a microwave. unattainable, half warm, half cold and dried, which arrived forever. service absolutely unexistant. no salt and pfeffer on the table, which was by the way not properly clean...you should not even call food, little less a restaurant.
After using this restaurant over many years I cannot honestly believe how much it has declined. Poor service, waiter repeated our order but still got it wrong. My friend sent steak back, our jacket potatoes weren't cooked, my fish was overcooked. Not one apology just...dirty looks
Went for the first time with family. Steak was not cooked right in the first instance to my liking. The steak came back and was cooked to my liking. However plate was warm with the salad garnish on! Steak bit chewy and quite fatty. The salads and rolls were nice.
Have been here 3 times in last 9 months as we live nearby. Always have had a good freshly cooked meal of steak or burgers & found the service to be excellent. Don't think you can knock it for the prices and selection and a good place to take the family

Average restaurant with average food. Good for children who want a burger and fries in an American style restaurant. Good service by very attentive staff and clean and comfortable.
Good food and nice friendly service. I always like to try out the nearby buffalo grill, as I like the food choice.
