"Smiling waitresses, a warm welcome and good food. What more does one need after a long ride to the south. The huge Italian salad was very tasty and so was the quesadillas/hamburger menu. The hamburgermeat was definitely unique. We even could order it rare, medium or well done. We'll certainly go back to a Buffalo Grill where ever we see one."

We had just driven 850 kilometers and were starving, which is the only reason we finished our meal here. After our waitress put some salad and bread on the table, she went away to eat and smoke, and I had to go find someone where I could order. Although i speak some French, the waitress was not interested to explain anything about the sides or sauces that go with the steaks. I ordered some oven potatoes, which never came. Ordered 3 steaks medium for my family which all came rare, quality of the entrecote steaks was so, that if we weren’t famished after a long drive, i would have send it all back. Knives so dull that we had great difficulty cutting the meat. Waitress was not to be found anywh...
We just ate here and I don’t usually leave reviews but it was so bad I feel I need to My fries were a mixture of Yesterdays burnt, reheated ones, some freshly cooked ones with a couple of frozen ones thrown infor good measure When I showed them, they did not appear to feel it was a major problem, and there is one guy who works here as a manager who distracts everybody else by chatting to them at the bar They finally took my plate to replace the fries, and when they return them, my burger was cold I could go on, but I wont I strongly recommend you do not eat here. The best bit is how they print their menus to make everything look appetizing. The service is apathetic.
We ate here on one of the busiet days of the year for travelling. It isn't in town it is situated in the midst of various hotels just off the motorway. It was packed when we arrived with people queuing waiting to be seated. The lady in charge of seating people worked non stop, clearing tables as soon as guests left and preparing the table for new guests, then seating them immediately. When we first walked in my husband said we will be waiting for hours, but we were seated within 30 minutes! Although mostly french speaking the staff are very helpful. We were served quickly and needless to say the food was great. Lovely friendly place with a great atmosphere!
After reading other reviews of this restaurant it seemed a good choice to eat as it was very close to the Ace hotel where were staying overnight in Issoire. When we arrived at 8.00 there was a long queue waiting for a table, a good sign possibly. Luckily the wait was short as was the time to deliver our order. Unluckily our food was poor. My wife's chicken was dry and my rack of ribs was barely warm. After reheating they were barely hot enough to eat. All very disappointing. Although the staff were attentive we couldn't believe the French clientele would queue for such a poor dining experience.
