We've been here a bunch of times and it typically is our go to in terms of Indian food, but this time we were a bit disappointed. The server unfortunately dumped one of the very hot plates on the table spilling the entire curry, so then we all had to move tables, the plates and glasses were full with muck from the spill, and 2 of us got our food, and the other person had to wait a significant amount of time for the re made food to arrive. When the 3rd meal finally came as you might expect, the other 2 were finished with their meal. The bread was cold, and my husband had to eat quickly, to catch up. It was my sons birthday. We arrived a little early, were seated right away, but it took another 20 minutes to have the server come over to our table to give us menus. We were not asked if we wanted drinks at that time, we had to wait until she came back to take our order to be offered drinks. The services is normally very good, but maybe because they were a little busier they didn't do so well this time. We ordered two of the same appetizer, one arrived, we had to ask three times for the other one, which eventually arrived. The food was good, but not happy with the service this time round. Will be a while before we go again.
I have been to Bukhara several times and always come back. I have tried several other places, but this is my favorite Indian restaurant. Easy to park out back, not crazy crowded, service is always good, food is always good. They seem to have lots of options, but I always get my favorite (Chicken Tikka Masala). If you like Indian food, check this place out!
I have been a patron of Bukhara since 1999, and I've seen significant changes over the years, both in the quality of the food and the service. However, our most recent experience will be our last visit to Bukhara. I refuse to tolerate verbal abuse when I’m paying for a poorly prepared meal.

Aaalways a great choice for a nice quick lunch. The buffet changes every day so it makes trying new foods interesting.
