Bulgaria - Table reservation

During our week’s stay in the region we visited several restaurants for evening dinner.“Bulgaria/Bei Nico” was one of them. Never been to a Bulgarian restaurant before so we were curious as how the menu would be different than other Balkan restaurants we did visit in the past. What followed was a nice surprise.For a Tuesday evening there were quite a few people inside as we entered around half past seven. A friendly waiter took us to a free table, handed over the menu and served both of us a 2cl glass of ouzo. We both ordered a “Schketo” (tomato-lamb soup) as starter. There are Bulgarian restaurants which are closer to the Turkish cuisine and/or which offer more vegetarian dishes. This one is closer to the Greek cuisine with a focus on meat dishes. However, there're still several vegetarian options available. We've been there several times now and never been disappointed. Delicious food. Very good value for money!

Our German hosts took us here, and I can see why it's one of their favorite restaurants. The sampler platter was excellent, as was the Geschnetseltes. The price is right and the service is friendly. Worth a try if you're in the area.

it is the best place I have ever been because of the very friendly personal and tasty meals. the setting to the customer is at the top! I recommend to everyone exactly Bulgaria

Food is excellent, the service is also perfect , I kindly recommend this restaurant if you are in this small town!
