Bull and bear for me today is as reliable as old. Long time consumers from bull and bear food and probably back forever. Appetizers are always great. Dinner is delicious with a good selection of burgers, packs and salads. And they have many pages from which we can decide and we have never been disappointed. Everything remains quite expensive and they were transparent about pandemic prices and challenges. The staff was always friendly and polite because the service is prompt. Said we came back in my original review and we finally did. I would say the prices are not as high as other places and it seems that they now have better chefs. Apparently I ordered the same meal (picked chicken with garlic parmesan pommes) but got raspberry tea instead. The tea was a much bigger cup and that was nice. I'm not a tomato eater and the menu didn't give tomatoes on the sandwich, but it came with one. Lower thing. Greater thing was that it needed more of the sauce. I always love coming here and the service and food is awesome but after dining here over this sweltering weekend I?m a bit disappointed. The dining area is so uncomfortably hot that it?s hard to even enjoy your meal. Is the AC broken? I feel terrible for the waitstaff and I?m sure anyone in the kitchen is feeling it even worse. Not sure if this is an ongoing problem or not based on what I read in other reviews but I?m definitely going to wait until it?s a bit cooler out to come back. Like I said, great food and amazing service but this definitely needs to be fixed not just for customers but for the sake of the employees as well!
I came for a single beer after I wasn't there since the pandemic. The bartender first delivered excellent customer service. The second time (king) I came into I was stunned that not only the bartender remembered my name, but she also remembered my drink. Jess is a phenomenal bartender
