I can’t put my finger on it but we’ve had a few whopper meals from BurgerKing recently in fact we’ve had more in the last 7 weeks (3) than we’ve had in the last ten years. Although we went to this one in Banbridge Outlet, it all started in Bognor Regis of all places. A place I never ever thought I’d visit. A place I had expected to be run down, grubby and unpleasant, yet proved me wrong on every level. I was curious so I decided to try a plant-based whopper meal with a Diet Coke at this restaurant. I may have had one before, but I can't remember. The mayo on the burger is vegan and I asked for extra onions, which are a natural antiseptic. The burger looks similar to a meat burger but has a different smell. Both meals are the same price. The taste and aftertaste of the plant burger is different from meat, but I would happily order it again. Although I prefer the taste of the meat burger from this brand, I don't miss the bits of gristle that are often in meat. The burger and service at this restaurant were terrible. There is a very limited selection of food. The Chimchurri Burger did not have all the advertised ingredients. The Cheddar melt was lacking in cheese. The Whopper burgers had rotten lettuce and were very dry without much sauce. The chips were dry and hard. Overall, it was not worth the money. I only took photos of some of the burgers before throwing them away, as I only considered leaving a review after experiencing the poor quality.
10 minutes to order even though there was no one in front of me and another 20 minutes for it to be served, even though it was just a chicken royale and a coffee, poorly made and not very hot and the coffee was lukewarm
