Always worth a visit. From the Burgschänke you have a beautiful view over Heppenheim to Mannheim and in good weather much more. With a good glass of wine or a cool beer, enjoy the view, simply unpaid: the service team is courteous and very friendly. The menu is not particularly large, which according to my feeling does not have to it, the most important is the taste and the dishes were always excellent.
Very cozy with great views, either walking or from a parking lot over relatively steep headstone pavement. Beautifully landscaped garden with beer garden right under the castle. Among trees or on the wall in the sun you can take delicious food from the small menu. Very friendly service. Pre-booking has worked super.
The view is just beautiful. The food was good and self-made soup and also the carving was self-panned. A little pity, there were no pillows for the chairs, for that the very young service was very friendly and helpful. Price performance is completely okay for the situation.

Nice place with beer garden over the roofs of Heppenheim. We ate the delicious apple cake. The operation is nice and fast. Five out of five stars. We like to come back.
