We ordered the fisherman’s basket and a chicken schnitzel. Fisherman’s basket contents were quite overcooked to the point of being hard, except for the chips which could do with a bit longer in the fryer and a little salt. Salad was tiny and mainly undressed...lettuce. Sadly could have had a lot better at any local fish and chip shop for half the price. Terribly disappointing. The schnitty was good and came with a generous serve of decent gravy. Unfortunately also came with the same undercooked chips and blech salad. The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. Despite having made a reservation for a Saturday night, we were greeted with rudeness and were left to find our table on our own. Our table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves after waiting for someone to attend to us. The staff seemed completely unaware and unprofessional, with one even wearing board shorts. As someone with 10 years of experience in hospitality, I was appalled. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
This restaurant has a great location, but the atmosphere is lacking and the food is terrible. I ordered a chicken dish and it was raw! It was so undercooked that it was pink, like it had just come from the butcher! This could make people very sick. There doesn't seem to be a real chef, and quality control is non-existent. It's a shame because we're locals and want to support this establishment. Please improve the menu and standards so we can continue to support the restaurant.
for $27 I expected more than 2 cloves, 2 scallops and 2 thin fish (via the size of the fingers.) the menu also indicated that the fish is crocheted. When the meal arrived, everything was broken, including the fish. when I mentioned that the fish should have been fought (per menu,) everything I was told was “oh yes, that is a typo in the menu, I’m sorry about that”. nothing else was said by the employees about the thema. I won't be back.

After a year's absence we found nothing had changed.Club is situated in a beautiful position on the beach and the food and oh so friendly service as good as ever.We had the special of garlick bread, Barramundi chips and salad and a bottle of wine for $49:90.The fish was good and the service prompt.I would have given the Club an overall rating of"good"had Tripadviser permitted.
Most would eat here when visiting Burleigh. Booking suggested as most nights are busy and if you want a table with a view this would be a must. Food is what you would expect what I classify as pub food but well cooked and presented, on the large side for servings. Specials board usually good value. Nice selection of medium wines and service with a smile.
Had a couple of meals here over our stay. Became a member to take advantage of discounts - well worth the $5.50 Two Year Membership fee! Excellent service, great meals, quick and delicious. Great bar on the lower level that had live music and you could sit and watch the world go by. Lovely views from upstairs too. Will definitely be back!
You cant get a better spot, over looking the beach and surrounds. Meals and good and reasonably priced. Nothing flashy but you are also not paying the earth for absolute beach front dining. Great range of beers there as well.

Lovely setting. Was a bit busy the night we went but the food and service were both good and reasonable prices. Another good place to visit in Burleigh Heads.
