I recently ordered takeout for dinner, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect 5 out of 5—especially the fish and chips, which I highly recommend. The service was equally impressive, also rated 5 out of 5, with a friendly and prompt response. The atmosphere was nice, scoring a 4 out of 5, making it an enjoyable dining option even when eating at home. Overall, I highly recommend this place for an excellent meal at a budget-friendly price!
The fish and chips here are fairly average, especially when compared to Maypole or the options in Ilkley. However, they’re not bad and it’s convenient to have a local option. If you’re craving something truly delicious, I’d recommend heading to Otley or Ilkley instead. But if you’re local and don’t feel like driving, this place will do the trick. I hope they take this feedback to heart and work on improving their food quality. Ratings: Food - 3, Service - 5, Atmosphere - 4.
The fish and chips from Burley Fisheries are some of the best I have ever had. Even better than most of the fish and chips I’ve had at the coast. The staff are friendly and polite. They accept card payments, and they have different size portions of meals so you can order or just what you want. Pros: Card payments taken (AMEX is not accepted! Delicious chips and tasty fish—definitely not as greasy as my previous visit, but still great flavor. Most of the chips were evenly shaped. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

This is a really busy chip shop and I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and it was also popping hot. Great chippy
I can only give this place one star because I've never had their fish and chips... they close way too early!
