We recently had lunch at Burrini's Market in Randolph, NJ and it felt like stepping into a charming Italian village all under one roof. Following a recommendation, we tried the deli and enjoyed the Italian Supreme and Charlie's Champ sandwiches. We even joined Burrini's Sandwich Club! On our way out, we couldn't resist picking up some cupcakes and cannolis from the bakery section. I would be careful when saying that you take pride in your customer service because that's clearly not true. I was unhappy with my breakfast sandwich because it was made wrong and I was offered a discount but since I didn't eat the sandwich I believe a comp would be fit. I was given attitude by the owner and when I went to go pick up the complimentary sandwich it was rang up with a .60 cent discount as well as attitude from the cashier. That is not the appropriate way to rectify the problem of an unhappy customer. I will not be back.
Terrible customer service the women behind the counter was disgustingly rude for being a cashier at a deli.... She forgot items and was using the cash register incorrectly. Charged us for 22 dollars worth of cookies when we only wanted two. Yelled at us from across the store telling us we needed to swipe and when we told her she was wrong she made eyes with the person behind us while pointing (the person behind her did not care). What a miserable old women.
I'll never walk into this place again. It took 15 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and one order of the frits. Paint dries faster. When I left, I asked for a bag and the guy behind the counter put the stuff in a box. When I walked out of the door an old woman I can only accept is the owner who started screaming me out of the store because she had no reusable bag. It was embarrassing, rude and not professional.

It has a good reputation because the food is good, but if you order an Italian sandwich, there is not a whole lot of meat on it when I pay over $10 for a sandwich and a soda, I want a fleshy sandwich, especially since I get my bottoms without tomatoes or onions
This restaurant used to be excellent, but it seems to have gotten slightly better recently. However, there are still issues with cleanliness and stocking. There are empty shelves and a sense that it is only being maintained at a basic level.
Very interesting market. They have an excellent selection of fresh seafood, fresh meat and salads. Many choices of cooked food and dishes, bakery and much more. Would recommend!
