One of the two only Cajun restaurants near south San Francisco and definitely the better one. Garlic Noodles: Cooked perfectly and garlicy Shrimp: Piping hot but not overcooked. Good sauce! Alcohol: Great beers and good price point Service: Prompt and helpful. Also table had gloves and everything ready. Tip: add a corn and sit outside to enjoy the nice weather Restaurant owner: the road outside is slanted. Maybe add something under the table legs to balance out the table. hot link: was pretty shocked that it was $4.00. Wasn’t sure how many grams you get but might be a better sell as I didn’t think to ask more after that given 1lb of shrimp is $15.

Celebrated a birthday with my daughter son. They treated me to this place. I Googled the right place and found the perfect birthday seafood dish. Not only was it vibrant and pretty it was delicious. The atmosphere was ok only because it's outside seating and depending on the weather, stuff can be blown off tables, some people at tables can be loud in a confines place, but the passersby people and children are a huge distraction I'd they are loud boisterous or sometimes entertaining. The atmosphere rating is solely based on things that are out of the restaurants control. My food was bomb and I had a great time.. I definitely recommend!
Everything was delicious and hot. We ordered the cajun fries to start with and they were wonderful very hot and super tasty! We ordered the hot pot with lobster, oysters and mussels. The lobster tails were quite a bit smaller than the server said they would be about half the size. They had a great beer selection with beers we haven't tried before. The staff was stand offish and quiet, maybe I'll call it sullen. Mostly looked down, very quiet and hardly said anything. I had to wave to get their attention for more napkins and water.
I've walked by this place a million times and never tried it, but finally remedied that a month or two ago. I'm so glad I did! My husband and I shared a combo with ALL OF THE SEAFOOD and fried frog legs. The frog legs were fine, not the best I've had, but our seafood combo was great. Some of the largest mussels I've ever seen! The shrimp were juicy, the food was plentiful and flavorful, and the service was great. We were both stuffed, that combo was more than enough for two. Don't forget your Abita! Book a table now
Tasty Cajun eats. The shrimp and seas urchin pasta were a generous portion. The shrimp were large and meaty. I wonder if they cook the shrimp with the sauce or does it get mixed in when served. Flavor is definitely there but the pasta noodle is average. The dry rub chicken wing tastes excellent. A bit of a long wait for food than other Cajun restaurants. Not too pricey. Definitely worth going back to, though.
Really did a terrific job with the seafood. Big portions and cooked well. Calamari wasn't overcooked which is easy to do. The garlic noodles were fantastic. Lots of garlic in everything which is OK with me. The fried gator was the only disappointment. Really thin slices so heavily breaded you couldn't taste anything. I've had gator before and it's meaty and flavorful. This was a total waste.
Although the restaurant was a bit crowded and noisy, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and attentive, and the shrimp was incredibly fresh. The crawfish was good, although I did order it frozen. The spiciness level wasn't too intense, but it was still very tasty. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
A little cramped and loud but delicious food. Quick and attentive service. The shrimp was definitely super fresh. Crawfish was pretty good but I did order frozen. The spiciest level isn’t too spicy but still goood. Book a table now
Eating in made for a very comfortable dinning experience this evening. Just got a call from my son thanking me for such a wonderful meal. The whole fresh crab, clams and shrimp were amazing.
