Our guide recommended this place for lunch, as we were touring Besalu. It was a holiday and the place was city and restaurant were jammed, so I cannot comment on how service would be on a regular day. We really enjoyed the food on the price-fixed lunch menu. It included appetizer, entrée and dessert. Out guide said it was traditional Catalan food. Given that all of the other reviews are not in English, I assume he was correct. The price was also reasonable for what you were served. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Besalu and looking for good local food.
Had lunch yesterday, and it was an excellent choice. Lovely choice, fresh cooked food. The 2 course meal was really good value for money, including water, wine and bread. Wonderful air conditioning. Very clean toilets. It's definitely worth a visit when in Besalu. Very friendly staff as well.
We take a Diary Menu Nothing special, but correct . Not space inside and we take the lunch in the terrace and was very hot weather For one day without pretensions, is O.K.
