"Food, service, ambiance, location is good. No activities that are part of the sugar shack itself, but the pros I compensate for it. There is a tubing place right next to it though if you're willing to pay for that. J'ai eu la chance d'y aller juste avant Covid mais je vais y retourner quand ce sera ouvert :p"

Positive points: Nice location (with great view), not too big of a building, so it's not too noisy and it stays clean, very good tasting food. Very good service. Negative points: Variety of meals very limited, presentation of meals very cheap, the presentation of the food is in small standard bowls purchased at the dollorama, small plastic glasses of water and maple syrup in your plastic container which makes no difference creative. No sugar shack decor on the table. Then, no games for the children or anything, no entertainment, not even a little arcade game to distract the children. It's a simple restaurant, expensive with a cheap look that doesn't look like a sugar shack... Luckily there's...

Really disappointed. Pasty pea soup, commercial-style square omelette, ears of criss which look much more like bacon and finally taffy in a tray of ice cream placed directly on the table . The ham, the meatball stew, the cretons were okay. All this for a little more than $52 per person with taxes. On the other hand, very good service. I won't go back there again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$50–60

Decent food and taffy, really not worth the price paid. Big drop in quality since the previous owners. Very disappointed to receive the taffy at the table and not to roll it yourself as before. I'm going to stop recommending this sugar shack as I have been doing for years. I understood last night that my childhood memories would only remain memories. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50
