Had my first meal here recently, a Sunday lunch with my son. Very well worth the 4 1/2 stars that it gets on Trip Advisor. Really nice regional Italian cuisine, great pasta freshly prepared and a large, genuine wood fired pizza oven, if you want to have pizza though I recommend to go for the wonderful pasta first. A fairly small range of starters and main courses but that’s actually a good sign. Apart from pasta there are some good main meat dishes too and some vegan and fish too. Solid, if unadventurous wine list but fair prices. This is by far a cut above the average Italian restaurant in London. One of the best Italians I have ever been to! The food was amazing, along with their service and atmosphere was just as good as sitting in Italy! The staff were very helpful friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. You can see how all the food is cooked from scratch, with a giant pizza oven in the restaurant. Some of the best garlic bread around! I will definitely be going back.
The food at this restaurant was very disappointing. The carbonara dish did not resemble a traditional carbonara at all, and the pasta was undercooked. I would recommend dining at a different establishment.
Lovely spot for breakfast! We are here every morning during our long weekend stay, it was THAT GOOD! Pastries are warm and fresh and Italians know coffee.
