Immersed for a snack and beer while waiting for the tourist train. I thought I had a lot of time, but in the end I had to go fast and ask for the bill so I didn't miss the train. It took an hour to order, serve and pay for a flamingos and a bottle of beer. I was not the only one, every other in the area on the Balcany where I sat, saw the clocks and asked the waitress why the delay. The waiting staff seemed busy so the delay must have been with the kitchen staff. Such a shame when it was a beautiful environment and the cakes looked good, omce people finally got them. My cake was delicious, although a little small for the price.
after a 4-hour walk around the schluchsee we went up to this caffe. fresh pastries, minute milkshake, rhubarb juice... everything was delicious. typical black forests gastronomy in light wood and wrought iron. pleasant staff. the menu offers small hearty dishes. we would have liked to have dinner there in the evening as it appeared attraktiw. but they close at 18 o'clock... there is an outside terrace with views of the square.
We tried the plumb cake and the waffles with cherries and whipped cream. Both were excellent. Viewing the square and the church from above was great. The service was fast and the prices were reasonable. We haven't experienced any problems with wasps. It is quite common your lunch with them at this time of the year, and in Germany they are protected. You just have to learn to live with them.

When I leave in the black forest, there is no way past the cafe, the cakes, strudel and other dishes can be recommended bedenklos. here quality is still great.Asssing super friendly, prices are very moderate. device is correspondingly good, not the latest but it also does not have to be the more eating.

quieter place with magnificent elevated terrace overlooking the main square of the village schluchsee various specialities, including hearty, but they cannot resist the exhibited sweetness: a piece of black forests chirschtorte that is so high that they won't do it will not be able to finish it instead ... yes :-)
we made a coffee break here on a rainy afternoon. the personal was exceptionally friendly. the coffee and the black forests were amazing. it also has a beautiful seating area on the balcony (which we could not use because of the rain).
had made the nice cafe at the cross stop at the schluchsee, at the church square. on the balcony, with a nice view, excellent cake eaten. nice service, price/performance for schluchsee fits!
Large selection of traditional cakes (a.o. Schwarzwaldertorte) and food (a.o. flammkuchen), baked on place. We sat on the terrace with a nice view of the towncenter.
