I suggest they make it reservation only instead of telling guests it will only be a 30 minute wait, and then extending that wait to 35... then 40... and then finally 55 minutes later. They should consider switching to a reservation-only system instead of promising a 30-minute wait that kept increasing to 35, then 40, and finally 55 minutes. The hostess seemed to call names randomly, disregarding the order of arrival and reservations. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time visit at this resturant. He had the French Toast, which was thick and rich, served with fresh orange slices and I had the Maple Delta, the equivalent of a decadent BLT spilling over thick slices ofciabetta bread. Our server, Rozette, was friendly helpful and attentive. We made reservations online, which was super helpfuland easy, we had only a few minutes wait time on a very busy day. Overall we were very pleased with the entire experience.

Although it’s a cozy space, I believe it can still accommodate moderately sized groups comfortably.
Update: Excited to be heading back here soon! Can't wait to see what's on the menu. I went here with my sister for a walk around Descanso Gardens and brunch. Everything we ordered was tasty, made well, and fresh. I enjoyed everything we had. It's asmaller space but I think it would still work for moderately sized groups.
