I tried to book a table for 6 for Sunday lunch on saturday night. The phone was not answered and the online booking wasn't working I finally managed to navigate their phone text booking system Arriving at the cafe no booking had been made they said they didn't look at their phone messages) A very gruff young woman told us to wait and hurried off to prepare a table, I went to ask another staff member and was told to wait again. After the table was prepared I was finally able to mention that one of our party was in a wheelchair and the table was unsuitable. Other arrangements were made and we were finally seated. Friends arrived and we had to ask for drinks lists and were told they were short...
On our way back from Lakes Entrance, we normally stop over in Rosedale for a snack. We had a disappointing experience there so decider to travel on to Traralgon for lunch. We couldn't find parking close to the place we wanted to go to, so we turned into a side road, got out of the car right opposite Cafe Aura. We were greeting by friendly staff and the menu had a good variety of offerings. Overall, the experience was good and the food and drinks were served in good time and of high quality.
Tea delivered for 3 people tonight while in lock down No. 5. Cheese and Mac croquettes as entree were just so yummy. We all ordered chicken parmas and they arrived hot and not overloaded with chips and sauce but what was there was pretty perfect. Salad was not wilted even being in same container and was lovely. We also had delivered a 6 pack of local beer and bottle of local rose, both very reasonably priced, as was the food. Definitely recommend and will be ordering again.
My partner and I visit for the first time after being less than impressed with another establishment a month ago. What a great breakfast. Fantastic coffee. Friendly staff and quick service.
