I liked this cafe, very nice and posh interior. I was in there with my sister and my niece one day. We were with our friends, and we was chatting over a cakes and coffee. Even the armchair seats are very comfy, great for lazing and sitting in there for hours, and hours! Also the staff service are amazing, when my niece have climbed out of her high chair, and accidently fell down on the floor and banged her head. The staff in the cafe had came to our assistance, and helped us. However, she have ensured us with first aid information. Also she went to the kitchen and brought us a tea towel covered with ice, to reduce the swelling. it was very thoughtful of her. Also the lady brought a free bowl...
I always have a pleasant experience at the cafe pool. The food is always great and the desserts are top-notch. The loaded pommes were incredible, the best I have seen! My only complaint is that the gin and lemonade I ordered came in a small, thin glass that was not appropriate for the drink. It also seemed like the lemonade was not served cold, so the gin tasted warm. However, the lasagne was amazing and the staff was lovely. I will definitely be back soon. It's a shame that many people overlook this gem in Greenock.
I had a nice dinner here. Wife had sampi and chips and I had served the caesar salat with huhn and speck that had correct huh and not reconstituted. personal helpful and friendly. some customers did not appear in the position to read the signage, masking, signing in etc. which is ultimately self-responsibility, but as we go out of the world, this can be less significant for some. From the states and did know where to eat. Seem like very few places to eat and yelp has very few reviews on the restaurants here in Greenock, Just walked by and picked this place. Very surprised by the food!! We had fish and chips and barbecue open face toast, our friends had wild mushroom, open faced sandwich, and a salad. All the food was delicious and service was great.

Wonderful café! We stopped in after a walk on the esplanade. The Penne Arrabiata was to die for and the service was excellent. We also split a slice of hot chocolate fudge cake and were not disappointed. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for the great atmosphere and food!
absolutely superb wonderful eating and the staff were absolutely fantastic, very polite and helpful nothing was more annoying and they were very attentive from the minute when I arrived with my wife and mother. well made young
Love this place. Been going for a couple of years now and never had a bad meal. Great food, and a lunchtimes it does get busy, so you could have a bit of a wait, but it is definately well worth it. Highly recommended.
The food was delicious, but I was disappointed by the portion size. As someone who is gluten-free, my meal was only half the size of the regular meals and came at an added cost.

The steak sandwich is fantastic and even my son, who is a picky eater, enjoyed the fish.
