Stayed in Germany for 2 weeks. This place was great. Been here 4 times in a that time span. Staff was friendly and they engaged in conversation which was nice bThey spoke good English, and helped me with ordering (don’t speak German). Even when a mistake was made, they took care of it and made it a pleasant experience. Loved the food and the beer. Highly recommend this place for o anybody who travels through Stuttgart.
My bill came to €14.50 for a pizza and 2 beers, what I’d expect and worth the money (hence the 2 stars). However, I handed the server a €100 bill and received €82 in change. When I questioned the server about the €3.50 I was due, they repeatedly said “that doesn’t include the tip.” I thought a tip is decided by the customer based on the quality of service (and not assumed). I won’t be going back…
I find it very nice place for drink and dinner. Every time when I have company travel in the region we stop for a drink with the colleagues. Staff is very friendly, despite we don’t speak german.
All in all a very pleasant experience, the setting in the centre of the old town which is what attracted me to sample the local beers and the freshly prepared cooking. I wasn't disappointed.
