This place is amazing. Atmosphere: The ambiance was great. The server lit a candle at my table. I sat by the window and enjoyed the vibe. Great music playing. I often danced in my seat. The art on the wall is great Colombian photography! Service: I'm American, In Germany, Ordering Colombian. So I was scared that there would be a language issue. But the server was patient. Explained my dinner to me. He even pulled out Google translate to help. They checked on me often and served with a smile. Food: The steak came out on a hot skillet. The presentation was beautiful. The owner placed the food down, dressed the steak with chimichurri sauce, cracked pepper, and coarse salt. I felt like a queen....
I had such high expectations for this place, hadn’t eaten Colombian food in months and was very excited about this place and the positive reviews. Got bandeja paisa, beans and beef was overly condimented, but the rice, yuca and plantain had absolutely no flavor at all. The arepa and chocolate was good, until they charged 8€ to add cheese to the hot chocolate…what? Ironically enough the owner greeted us and told us about how wonderful his restaurant was, how much he had traveled and had seen so many Colombians restaurant where food is so bland and expensive that makes you never want to go back…but didn’t realize his was one of them. Food was not that great and it cost 80€ for a meal for two,...
We heard about this place 350km away. Definitely worth the travel. The food was delicious and excellent. Portion sizes were huge. The staff were friendly and advised on the food choices. They regularly checked on us. The attached photo for two was enough. Will certainly return. One advice you cannot pay with card but don’t let that put you off
Amazing food, we had the Mother's Day Buffet and the selection was awesome : the meat was really tender and tasty, loved the calamari and plantain. The rice was really flavourful. Great Mojito as well. It's run by really nice people, the interior design is so lively and comfortable. Definitely visiting again.
