Recommended by the LP guidebook so this is the first restaurant we tried in Innsbruck. Good thing as it doesn't seem to be open on Saturdays. It's on a narrow side street with a few tables outside. Inside the dining room has well spaced tables, and is artistically decorated, stylish and interesting. We both had the day's special which was sea bass on risotto. Perfectly cooked fish, well presented, the skin so crispy ate it all even though I usually don't like to eat fish skin. A bit pricy (entree at 32 euros) compared to some of the other places but it feels quite upscale.

We found this restaurant in the Riesengasse by chance having been rather put off by the ersatz experiences offered around the Goldenes Dachl area. It is really very good an interesting menu (always ask about the specials) with both tyrolean specialities and dishes from a wider range of culinary traditions and the service is friendly and very efficient. We had excellent schnitzel one evening and then returned a couple of days later and really enjoyed the veal cheek and the vegetarian mushroom goulash. Good wine selection, reasonable prices throughout.

This place is in the middle of the old town pedestrian area. Super service, food out very quickly and it was very good, Covid restricitons made for a rather empty place of a Friday night. I am sure the place would normally be more lively. About EUR 100 for the two of us, including aperitifs and wine.

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at dengg. The food was creative and delicious, with an authentic twist. But our interaction as non-German speaking guests with the staff made the evening most memorable. Seldom do you have a dining experience that is so enjoyable on so many fronts.
