We came to find this place on the suggestions from TrAd., and we weren't disappointed. The cafe is set out in a quiet little square up some one-way streets towards the top of Tourrettes. The tables are daintily set with linen clothes in the shade of an olive tree and a covered pergola. We had main courses of cuisse de canard and salads, all well flavoured and prepared. The crushed potatoes that came with the duck leg were lovely. 4 mains and 8 drinks came to around 70euros, which was pretty good for the quality and the beautiful setting. Service was polite and well timed.

Our group of four loved our visit to the charming village of Tourrettes, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cafe des Arts. Totally lovely, eating al fresco in the little town square filled with art work all around. Our party members each enjoyed an entree of a Provençal terrine, followed by a delectable plat du jour of homemade sausage on a bed of polenta. The desserts were divine! I had a peach and pear crumble, my husband the chocolate mousse, and our friend a tiramisu in a little jar. Highly recommend, especially after a market visit to nearby Fayence.

Strolling through the winding alleys of Tourrettes we stopped at Cafe Des Arts for tea and coffee. Couldn 't resist the adorable locale, a quiet square between art galleries. Went for lunch as well. The duck con fit was amazing. This place was our perfect France experience. The owners were charming as well. Highly recommend trekking over from Fayence!

Park down the hill a little and walk up to the cafe following the signs. You will be seated in the square and served from the kitchen just across the road. Great food and the service is very friendly. No real views but a lovely atmosphere. We didn't book but tables are limited si could be worth a call.
