I have to admit that the problem with our experience was the rating given, presumably by other TripAdvisor reviews, of and even more so by TripAdvisor listing it as the best restaurant in Séguret. I can only assume that the previous good reviews...were made when the restaurant was having better times or perhaps were overly influenced by the basic ambiance of Seguret rather than the restaurant itself. Certainly, it is NOT the best restaurant in Seguret but a distant last. Perhaps this is exaggerated by being next door to Le Mesclun, which fully deserves its rating and is by far the best restaurant in Seguret and probably amongst the best in the area. On holiday in Provence in July we went as a adults and children) to a prebooked lunch at the Cote Terrasse in Seguret.Not an easy place to find on your first visit..our sat nav finally ended up guiding us through the vines on...a single track road,fortunately meeting no oncoming traffic.If deciding on a second visit next year,I would have no problem in finding my way to the restaurant. The restaurant was fine but nothing special. It is probably more that our expectations were not aligned with the type of experience the place intends to provide. It felt more American style in terms of service than French. For example, within a few moments of...being seated, the server was eager to take our food order. We had to manage the pace of the evening, which is definitely not what we want in France. Also, they serve the meals at one time with a large plate with everything there. We reserved a table in advance on the terrace. This is advisable as people were being turned away because the restaurant was fully booked. Seguret is beautiful; full of history and the restaurant is in a lovely setting. There is a good choice of food.. the steak and pork were great. Positive feedback on the chips also! The cost of the main course includes a dessert. All enjoyed their food and the bottle of local rose was very welcome on a warm evening. Staff were friendly and prompt.

We were lucky to get a table outside at a very crowded lunch. Very service minded staff and reasonable prices concerning lack of competition. The view from this beautifully situated restaurant was like a painting. The village is climbing on the hill side amazing!...I had the goat cheese sallat, which was delicious and beautifully presented. Dessert was to die for as well. Great lunch, would definitely recommend!
There aren't many dining options in this delightful town in the Cotes du Rhone, but this one nicely does the trick. The food isn't especially noteworthy, but it was tasty and the service was fine. The setting on the terrace is pleasant, although that means...swatting flies (pretty typical for outdoors anywhere). Very reasonable prices.

High quality French cuisine. Enjoyed the Entrecôte steak great flavour but quite tough and chewy (hence stars not Lovely service, always very friendly, and great wine (of course).
