The cafe looked inviting, so along with group of colleagues we dropped in on a hot Geneva evening for beer.Ended up staying for dinner, which meant others came to join us over the course of the evening, in this very atmospheric diner.Beer was cold and the rosti looked fantastic, so much so that six out of seven of us chose one of the versions of rosti on the menu. I chose the Entrecôte Burger & Rosti Maison. Sounds fantastic doesn't it? It was.The menu is all in French, but it has a cute decoder for us English-only speakers - see pic.Certainly worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
Sommes venus dîner de salades serbes, de cevapcicis et röschtis. Tout était délicieux à l'exception de la viande que nous avons trouvé décevante (comme décongelée et rôtie). Le flan maison avec pistaches émondées et grillées et pruneau par contre était fabuleux ! Ambiance assurée la nuit venue par de la musique dans le café, mais dont les décibels rendaient la discussion difficile. Néanmoins, le café a un charme exceptionnel et une histoire dans la république. J'y croisais autrefois, entre autres, André Chavanne, Nicolas Bouvier et Ella Maillard.
Was here two times.First time me and my wife took rostis in burger - it was really tasty.The day after I realized that I forgot my sunglasses there so we decided to have lunch at the place once again-)Took meat - carpacho, antrecot and lamb chop - everything was very tasty.Lots of local visitors, not only tourists.I would definitely recommend the place for those, who want to take some tasty food in Geneva.
Après un jeu dans l'espace room qui se trouve à côté, nous avions faim et pas envie de nous déplacer. Sans grande conviction, nous entrons. Et belle surprise ! La terrasse est sympa bien que pleine. Les plats sont généreux, un peu cher mais rien de choquant. Très très bonnes rösties ! Par contre, nous n'avons pas trop apprécié la musique, un peu trop forte lors du repas.

We found this busy cafe while exploring the old town. It is a brasserie that offers traditional Swiss dishes like rösti (shredded potatoes, fried with or without toppings, sort of like superior American hash browns). The service was friendly and the al fresco seating made a charming setting. Highly recommended!
I spent a nice evening on the terrace in midst the old city of Geneva. This restaurant is a real recommendation, I was warmly welcomed by the service and he stayed attentive all the time. The food was delicious and not what you normally get in Geneva. The roesti is just great. I will come back, definitely.
Went with a group to this restaurant. Had the ham, egg and gruyere rösti. Loved it. Good service. We went on a very warm day and there was no ventilation which ruined the whole experience. I would recommend investing in some fans! Would go back on a cooler day.
Vi var rundt i den gamle bydel og faldt over en en fortovsrestaurant, man skal kunne lide at sidde tæt idet bordene står utrolig tæt og skal flyttes når naboen skal rejse sig.

Güzel, yemesi keyifli bir yemek. Old town merkezinde hoşça vakit geçirebileceğiniz bir mekan. Çıkışta yakındaki cafelerde kahve keyfi yapabilirsiniz.
