It's a tiny coffee, oh, nothing fantastic. But that's what makes it charming. It is open all year round, even winter, when the streets are deserted. The locals come to get a drink. But be careful, it's not a drunk bar, not at all. We're going in summer and spring. We're taking a galopin, that is, a little glass of beer, like local people. or in winter, when it's bad, the storm blows, it falls "strings". So it's a cream. The atmosphere is that of the coffee of the past, the reception is simple but cordial. for lunch, it's very simple but don't go for it, just go for it to feel like living this land, just for that.
a lot of choices to deck aven but we opted for the coffee center because it looked popular. good choice because for lunch, we just wanted something light. We chose to sit outside and watch the world pass. service was warm, friendly and efficient. There was a small menu for lunch including salads and sandwiches that, in france, are copious, so we felt well fed and satisfied with our choice watered with a few glasses of wine.
located in the heart of Pont-Aven 2 steps from the bridge and close to the various walks that the city of the painter proposes, the terrace is a very pleasant place as well as the interior that is old style, without being pejorative quite the contrary. in a typical house of the city is this coffee, well arranged and with a comfortable and entertaining terrace. The service, quick and very friendly. We ordered sandwiches, one with sardines and another with tuna, a very large, well-stocked, mellow bread, for a fast, highly recommended meal.
