The ambiance is really nice! Basically the same as in any Extrablatt! The staff and service were friendly and attentive! The food, however, was a disappointment on both occasions!! I generally don't expect culinary highlights! That's why I rarely eat at an Extrablatt. They mostly serve frozen food! I'm aware of that! But you can still prepare a decent meal with these ingredients! The first time I ate a salad with a baked potato. The salad was really mediocre. The iceberg lettuce was partly brown. The potato was relatively small. The second time I had a schnitzel with tomato and mozzarella, with fries. Everything was lukewarm! The amount of fries was really manageable! The mayonnaise came in...
Very tasty food at a fair price. The burgers are really very good! Service was nice and friendly. Nothing to complain about! Update: Brunch today... We often go to Bielefeld for brunch, etc. We don't need that anymore. Very extensive and high-quality buffet at a good price. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try everything because I was full. Service was good, food very good, and the ambiance by the spa gardens was very nice. Conclusion: Dinner and brunch were very good. We'll be back... for both. Small drawback... It's very warm in the restaurant. A little less heating would have been good.
Das Restaurant mit großer Außenterasse ist sehr schön in der Nähe des Kurparks angelegt. Es gibt gemütliche Sitzplätze im Schatten, auch das Innere ist wie man es von Extrablatt erwarten würde. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Wir genossen ein Eiskaffee, welchen ich in keiner Eisdiele besser getrunken habe. Es schmeckte ausgezeichnet und ist eine Empfehlung wert.
We've found a new hotspot for ourselves in Bad Salzuflen. The food is incredibly delicious...the staff is attentive, friendly, and courteous... When we're back in Bad Salzuflen, our first stop will be Café Extrablatt... I don't understand some of the reviews...e.g. The food was OK, but lacked flavor. What kind of statement is that? It's either OK or it isn't...

The bald waiter was very disrespectful to us, just because the blanket got a little dirty on our dachshund, who's cleaner than some people. He was sitting on my mother's lap. He was very rude and disparaging, but that could be said in a friendly way. The toilets were all blocked, so they wouldn't be allowed to open the shop.
We ordered a salad and a bowl, which looked great, but then the iceberg lettuce (which unfortunately made up 70% of the dish) appeared in both, almost just stalks and already a bit brown and wilted. When we complained, they just said OK. What a shame!
We were here for breakfast yesterday. All the staff were nice, but they should find a different location for the staff smoking table. Not where the guests eat. Even though it was open to the landscaped garden, we still got a lot of smoke.
Disappointing! No smiles, no service – and the staff's tone is simply rude. Absolutely no customer friendliness whatsoever. Definitely not recommended!
