I would rate this cute little cafe near South Yarra station a 7 out of 10. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and they politely asked us to leave when we overstayed due to reserved tables. The coffee was good, coming from Proud Mary, and the latte art was a pretty rose instead of the usual leaf design. The Jamon potato rosti was crispy and not oily, with thinly sliced and flavorful Jamon. The truffle mushroom pancake was unique, with the mushrooms inside the pancake and a delicious taste. I enjoyed the seaweed topping, though I would have preferred less watercress. Overall, this Asian fusion cafe was interesting and I had a satisfying brunch experience.
Omg!!! What an hidden gem! Me and my friend came here twice in a row and I can’t wait to go back again and try a different dish! The service is so friendly and the location is a lovely little cafe just off Toorak Rd. We just moved in the area and we were looking for our local cafe. Not too fancy and Yvonne provided an amazing smiling service. Even the other staff members are really attentive. Is not your usual fancy cafe in South Yarra, it felt like home. We will definitely go back to try other dishes. A must is their signature dish! Really to die for! Thanks again Yvonne for your lovely smile, service and cafe. I absolutely love Cafe Gaia for brunch every day of the year! Their variety of dishes is so satisfying, and the food combinations are amazing. Who would have thought that pork crackling and apple could taste so good together? The flavors they mix are always delicious. I've tried other brunch spots in South Yarra and Melbourne CBD, but nothing compares to Cafe Gaia! I love it.

We went here for Mother’s Day. The service was spot on. The food was delicious and the chai was made fresh with chai spices not powder. I had the potato Rosti which was really yum and very generous sized meal. Looking forward to going back!
Love this place. I’ve been here a couple of times now and so far only tried their corn and sweet potato fritters, but I keep coming back for them! Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed and good music. Staff are super friendly and welcoming.

3.5/5Great brunch experience! Very cosy and nice place. Place was quite crowded and many people had to queue outside so I’d recommend making a booking. The eggs benedict was my personal favourite and would recommend this!
