Cafe Gallo has perhaps the best pizza in this neighborhood. This time, we had a gathering in a nearby park, keeping social distancing in mind. The event was a bit early in the morning, around the time they usually open. They still delivered on time. And the pizza quality was as it always is, i.e., excellent.
I ordered a large pizza and the Gallo Special (also large), and both were incredibly delicious! The sauce on each was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I highly recommend the Gallo Special, as shown in the picture above. I can't stop eating it! I will definitely be ordering it again and again!
The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was good. The warm bread and butter were a nice touch. The cheese ravioli was expertly made, and the veggie pizza was generously topped with vegetables. However, I was surprised to find that the bill included a 20% tip for just those two items.
The food is consistently delivered on time, and I’ve never encountered any issues with its quality. The staff is generally friendly; however, they tend to be unresponsive to suggestions, particularly when the error is on their part. Because of this, I had to take away one star. Book a table now
The pizza was excellent, and the rice ball was incredibly delicious, earning a solid 4 stars. However, I have to give it a thumbs down because it was just one medium-sized rice ball cut in half. At $9.50 for that appetizer, I expected at least two.
Stopped in to get a quick lunch. Chicken Parm sandwich very tasty and the roll which makes or breaks this type of sandwich was very fresh. The counter person was very friendly as I watched him take care of all of the patrons.
