I think it is time to leave a review for one of our favourite places in town. Kottani is a delightful family owned cafe. The food is always satisfying, the service friendly and efficient. My daughter's favourite dish is the mezze 3. I used to go for a mezze myself but the portions are so generous that I usually cannot finish it all. So I settle for either the aubergine or the okra with pita bread. We brought my mom there last week she's visiting us for the first time and she has now been converted to hummus.
During my stay in town, I tried a different coffee shop each day and this one quickly became my favorite. The coffee was excellent, and they offered a variety of delicious pastries in the perfect portion sizes. The bartender was incredibly friendly, not just to me but to all the patrons. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting, cozy, and warm, and you could watch people passing by as you enjoyed your drink.
We have often stopped for morning coffee and pastries, but called in for lunch today. It was excellent, salads and vegetables, although meat dishes and sandwiches are available. Better than any other light lunch we have had in Bury, extremely friendly and efficient service, freshly prepared food and a nice town centre location. The pastries are very good too (but very calorific! .

This was my first time visiting Bury St. Edmunds and my godson recommended this restaurant based on his previous visits. The food was delicious and served promptly, with a variety of coffee, other drinks, and desserts available. The atmosphere was pleasant and the venue was clean.
Great place for a cuppa or a bite for lunch. Authentic Greek food from a friendly family run cafe. They have a great Greek deli a few doors up the street too. .
The staff at this restaurant is always friendly and informative, and the menu is excellent. We were greeted with a smile and treated with great courtesy.
Not very nice staff. The staff wouldn't let our 3 year old use the toilet without buying a bottle of water. Below the level of basic human decency.

I went with my dad a few weeks ago. I had a panini and an iced latte that were both really good. It was really pretty inside as well.
