Cafe La Cave is closing, and we are very sorry to see it go. The food, service, and ambience were all excellent. They still make the best Caesar Salad. We will miss it. I ordered the Mahi Mahi special served with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were exquisite. Light, very flavorful, and with the perfect balance of garlic and butter. The Mahi Mahi, was perfectly prepared in a lemon buttery, garlic sauce. For dessert, we had the upside down chocolate soufflé. Again, very delicious. If you can book a reservation before its last night (which I think is on Friday 3/24), I would highly recommend doing so.
This was THE last day for this truly one of a kind restaurant and their great employees, Tino,Gilberto,Tom and on and on. VERY VERY SAD!!!
Glad that the closing date of the restaurant was extended; got my last chance to visit. Bittersweet.
