La Plaça is a bar located in one of the entrance to Plaça Major (main square) of Vic, a town in the center of Catalonia. I came here to breakfast and I ate a cured sausage (typical from the region) sandwich and a coffee with milk, which were very good. Also I repeat the next year, when I ate a pork loin sandwich (other product of the region) and a coffee with milk. Very good to breakfast. Molt mala experiència en aquest bar. Un dels cambrers correcte i simpàtic, l'altre volia lligar tota l'estona amb una amiga meva. La seva presència es va fer incòmoda. A més a més, quan vam parlar-li en català, no va entendre que li demanàvem i només esperava resposta d'ella (la que es volia lligar), buscant la seva complicitat i fent que li parlés en castellà. No vam entendre la situació. També van trigar molt a portar el plat. Anem sovint a Vic i no tornarem a consumir en aquest establiment, tampoc el recomanarem als nostres amics i familiars.
Aunque ocupado y difícil de comunicar al principio para una bebida (sin español) el propietario (o tierno bar) tenía una gran sonrisa y un poco de inglés para nosotros. Teníamos algunas cervezas muy bien precio y también vermut en el grifo! Esto hizo mi día, así como el lugar perfecto para tomar los últimos rayos del sol. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos más tarde esa noche y el amable propietario (barman) le dio a mi hijo un croissant gratis porque tenía hambre. ¡Si haces feliz a mi hijo, me haces feliz a mí!
Visitando Vic por el día. Como era lunes muchos lugares estaban cerrados. Este bar está en la plaza principal. Nada especial, sin embargo después de un comienzo tibio la gente que atendía se calentó. Comimos tapas, además de un filete de ternera y una hamburguesa. Toda la comida estaba recién preparada y sabrosa. Un par de cervezas y una jarra de sangría hicieron que el almuerzo fuera bueno.

Average bar in central Vic, nothing to be mention as different compared to other bars. In addition, we has a bad experience since one of the staff was quite unpolite due to we were with two babies and there was not enough space. This was quite dissaponting and deserve to bé mentioned.
We needed somewhere to stop off en route from Tamariu to Cardona and stumbled across Vic. What an impressive square and a great find! The food at La Plaça was simple but really tasty (try the egg, bacon and chips yum! , and the service was really impressive.
This is a very average restaurant, the only thing that justifies the third star is the fact it is on the plaza so it has location going for it. Apart from that, not much to say its all very average with nothing that stands out.
Not the fanciest but a good selection of unpretentious food at good prices. Big portions. Good service. Good location right on the square. Would go again.

Ha estat una molt mala experiència, molt lent el servei, molt dolent i maleducats. El menjar penós.
Colla de ganduls, mal educats i a sobre no atenen ni entenen el català. Menjar deplurable.
