Wir waren am Samstag mit dem Velo unterwegs im Appenzeller Land. Nach einer tollen Tour wollten wir in Appenzell noch Kuchen für die Osterfeiertage kaufen und sind auf die Confiserie Laimbacher gestossen. Es hatte ein paar Leute vor dem Laden mit Eis in der Hand. Man kam ins Gespräch und uns wurde der kleinen feine Laden unterhalb der Confiserie empfohlen zum Eis essen. Das haben wir gemacht. Da wir noch etwas Kuchen für die Feiertage mitnehmen wollten, haben wir uns auf die Treppe der Confiserie gesetzt um erst einmal das Eis fertig zu essen. (Natürlich haben wir niemanden gestört beim Betreten des Ladens). Nach ca. 5 Min kam der Chef raus und pöbelte ans an ob wir beim Ihm noch aufs Klo ge...
we were a group of 8 people and came for brunch, which was fantastic. it was served on an etagère and included various types of brot, really fluffy croissants, delicious dried meat, cheese and obst spiessli. the presentation of the food was accompanied. a great carefree, it looked as delicious as it tasted. personal was also very friendly. uf Swiss-Dütsch: it isch mega guet gsi! proper and amazedly presented esse and so fine gsi me are alli enthusiastic gsi: thanks for a great brönsch!
Sehr einladend gestaltet wie eine Boutique für hochwertige Confisserie, auf die wir hier hereingefallen sind. 8.50 CHf für ein Glas Konfitüre 200gr. sind ein stolzer Preis der viel verspricht, aber leider wenig hält. Die etwas flüssig geratene Konfi hat zwar viele Fruchtstückli, ist aber recht süss und zu wenig Eigengeschmack der Frucht. Auch das Gebäck war überrissen teuer und nicht dementsprechend gut. Das Einzige was wir wirklich hervorragend fanden war der appenzeller Berewegge.

if they have a chance to visit appenzell cafe laimbacher is a must to go! they have the best coffee, but this is just the beginning. her ice is out of this world (try Rhabarb-Coupe! the load has a large selection of delicacies. it is just a wow! the cafe laimbacher is worth a visit.

they are a well-known confiserie. why dear friends my cake was not fresh and the tea was served with a tee bag and only warm water. they come, they can do it better or maybe not.
an excellent visit to a traditional coffee with a delicious menu, we know beforehand that already entering here is guarantee, the coffee is delicious
