The Lehenshof, in the centre of Ansbach’s pedestrian old town, has clearly been around for a long time, and has a cosy, charming interior, with traditional German booth seating. Also an outdoor seating area. We enjoyed excellent schnitzels, draught Kulmbach pilsener, wellchilled white wine, coffee...and a Jägermeister. Friendly service from our waiter who agreed to vary what was offered on the menu to suit our preferences from chips with one of our schnitzels to very good potato salad. Bill for two came to
We had a group of ten for dinner. The waiter was very polite and accommodating, pushing two tables together so we could eat out in the courtyard. The atmosphere is relaxing and away from any street traffic. We ordered a variety of meals and everyone...enjoyed their food. I had a dish of noodles with cheese and slices of tomatoes and my sister had fish. All portions were generous. I would definitely eat here again.
It is a small restaurant in the city centre that really welcomes you and makes you feel at home, prices are fare and portions plentiful. The menu offers typical regional dishes to warm you up in the cold Bavarian winter and the best way to...start is taking one of their fantastic soup!
In the courtyard you can sit well protected. The food is plentiful and tasty. The services were very nice and accommodating. We'll be happy to come back.

Eat drunks, just good. Too bad it doesn't always exist. Operation friendly. Even the salad is very good. Price performance quality very fair.
