What a fantastic discovery! My wife and I decided to have lunch at Cafe Metro, a place we had never tried before. It was about an hour's drive for us, so I was hoping for a good experience, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. There were plenty of options on the menu as well. Additionally, for those with accessibility needs, there is a ramp for entering the building, and the tables are nicely spaced apart.
We waited 40 minutes for our reserved table. They seemed very nice, but unorganized. Very good service at our table. Dumplings and brussel sprouts were good, but my main course vegan meatballs were uncooked. Soft mushy and cold. It 's like they just rushed them out, cooked only 25% of the way. Could not eat them. We had enough other food on the table, so we took the meatballs to go and we 'll finish cooking them at home tomorrow.
Always great food and great service! And the specials are quite extensive, interesting and very good as well. And don't forget about desert!Also, they honor us veterans with a nice discunt which is always appreciated. Vegetarian options: A few great options. Very tasty!
When I inquired with the waitress about whether the salmon was wild or farmed, she assured me it was wild. However, I have my doubts, as the salmon was a pale pink color and lacked flavor. I won’t be returning.
