Horrible pasta! Never had anything that bad in either Italy or a good restaurant in the US. If you want to eat bad food after being shown to a terrible table, this is your spot! I was told you only get a decent table if you request its number when booking. Who knew?! Very sad how they treat patrons from the local neighborhood. I guess you either need to be a tourist or a celebrity to command their respect. But wait, is catering to tourists the best business model during a pandemic? One positive, the wine list is impressive. My advice if you go, just order a good bottle of wine and leave as quickly as you can
We have been going to Café Milano for a couple of years ever since we’ve moved to DC. It is consistently good and it is wonderful how they remember us from each time and make you feel so welcome. I’m just so happy that they’re open again and they were able to go in person versus having to order in from them. LAUREN is always very gracious and welcoming us back as his Francesco and they’re concerned that everything be done just right is what makes it so special. We can’t wait to go back
the issue for this meal was the fact that my wife and I ordered the pasta dish with manila clams and for both of us less than percent of the clams had anything in them. To Milano's credit Lauren was told about it and comped one of the meals which was appreciated. I would note that I have had this dish many times before and I have yet to see it served with percent clams average is usually percent. I just recommend they do a little more to make this great dish worth its price
The food was outstanding, but the service was very poor. It took ages for us to get the attention of a waiter to get the menu and to order drinks. The same was for the main meal.

This is a pretty expensive restaurant a side salad!, and for the price the experience was disappointing. Food was fine but nothing special, and the service was very spotty
The worst customer service in the country! Our reservation was at we didn't sit before they did not apologize or offered us seats or drinks. They just didn’t care!
It was my husband’s birthday, a Labor Day and babymoon staycation. Great good, dune times. I’m sure we’ll be back
