Old Town Cartagena is a mishmash labarynth of shops, bars, churches, plazas and government buildings with much of the 300-year building. It is a great walk even in the near equatorial heat of the coastal city. At some point, whether you follow the pretty taxis, tourist groups, or randomly land in a large area (Santo Domingo) dominated by outdoor cafés. Milenio Catagena is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. The menu, although extensive is a bit hard to find, and the servers are hardly controversial.
