Definitely worth the trip! We were in Preston for the long weekend and decided to go out for lunch. We ordered the BLT with chips and the Garlic Prawns with Salt and Pepper Squid, along with chips and salad. The BLT was served on a toasted Turkish bun with plenty of thinly sliced, non-fatty bacon. The prawns and squid were cooked perfectly, with 8 fat prawns and a decent portion of baby squid. The crispy chips were delicious, and the salad was beautifully dressed. All of this for only $18 - what a bargain! We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again.
We inquired about the sandwich options and the waitress responded, "Anything. You can customize your sandwich with whatever ingredients you like." This led to some confusion, as it's not often that you can just walk into a restaurant and choose from endless ingredients to add to your sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly. The coffee was overly milky and too hot, but despite that, it's a popular cafe and one of the few in the area.
it was a lunch in harvey on the way back to perth, and ended in cafe on uduc, after one of their diners (a native) told us that it was the place to eat. they were right. large service and an excellent, varied menu complete...with some interesting, heat-rich options such as cauliflower nasi goreng (the three of us ate and enjoyed enormous.) the children had chickenburgers, who are handsome and loaded with salat. a great sound!
Enjoyed a delicious reef and beef with chips and a salad. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. The portion sizes were generous and all dining with me for lunch said they thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Next time I’m ordering the prawn and avocado salad, it looked amazing and my Mum said it tasted fantastic. Book a table now
Friendly staff. Good sized servings. Not cheap but very tasty food and coffee. I can recommend the Thai Noodle Salad and had mine with chicken. My friend had the calamari and said it was very well cooked, with a lovely dressing on her salad.
Went in for takeaway ice coffees and weren’t disappointed! Lovely staff that served us told us the property was originally a house built in 1933. It’s been a few businesses over the years but now a delightful cafe. Would recommend a visit!
Have been here every time we come into Harvey. Amazing food , amazing service with a smile , u can see they enjoy what they do. Thumbs up and keep the good food rolling. Will be back for more.
