Edifício bonito, no meio da Old Town, perto da Town Hall, o café Papon é mitico em Genebra.Abriu no princípio do sec. XIX, sofreu algumas obras de renovação e reabriu em 2005.Nós esplanamos e comemos um delicioso gelado, que custou 12€ mas valeu cada cêntimo.O funcionário não era de sorrisos mas muito eficiente, tendo em conta que estava sozinho e a esplanada muito composta. Foi um belo pedaço de tarde e recomendo a visita
Having read TA reviews, my wife and I decided to have lunch here. We were the first customers and were warmly welcomed when it opened at noon. We had duck foie gras and fresh tomato soup as starters. For mains, we had grilled salmon (dish of the day )and grilled lamb chops. All dishes were remarkably good and way above the typical cafe standards. Highly recommended.
This little restaurant has been in service since the 1600s. Very cute, semi-underground architecture inside, outside seating is also available. They have food, but we were there in the a.m. and just had drinks. Good place for a quick stop if you are walking in the Old City. Very nice views overlooking Geneva right outside.
Fui con un grupo de amigas y la pasamos de maravillas. Muy buen lugar para reuniones en grupo. La carta de comida es bastante variada al igual que los vinos. Los precios si tenemos en cuenta el costo de vida en Ginebra esta dentro del rango normal. La atencion fue muy amable; mas que seguro que regresaria. Book a table now
Déjeuner avec un ami sur la terrasse de l'esplanade avec une très jolie vue. Accueil sympathique et la présentation, ainsi que la qualité des plats est superbe. Pensez juste à réserver avant, principalement pour profiter de la terrasse. Je recommande
The setting is very laid back and calm, they serve fancy European food. Everything is excellent, although quite pricey. The service was perfect.
Tasty food in pleasant surroundings, with a great view of Geneva from the outside terrace. Good varied menu.
