"Excellent little local place in Quebec. Highly recommend the crepes in the morning. Service was okay but a bit crowded and cold in the back area."

This was the first place I visited the first night I got in Quebec City. In the St. Jean Baptist District. It was an absolute perfect location for those that want to have a nice meal and drinks. Located at the end of the of the street where it's closed off for nightlife. I'm the kind of the person that likes social life, but not all the loud party scene. Capucine provided great service, and made me very welcome. The meal, drinks, and service were so good, I had to come back again the last night of my stay. That's when Leana proved their food and service were consistently great. I'm already booking another trip to come back. I love Quebec City, and will definitely coming back to Cafe Bistro a...

My friend and I visited on a Wednesday evening in mid-September, and so were able to spend a long time here because it wasn't super busy. The staff were friendly, we felt welcome and not rushed. We had spent our trip time in the Old City but were renting an apartment in the Bonnet D'ane neighbourhood. On our last evening wanted to try this cafe. It was a perfect end to our trip. Should comment on the food! After a few days in Quebec City we weren't especially hungry (haha) and so just ordered the potato soup which was tasty. And then a relaxing sit and chat with a glass of red wine. Most of the other customers ordered the hamburger which looked delicious.

This was such a find! Just walked a bit outside of the walls of Quebec City to a delightful neighborhood full of authentic bars and bistros. You will be rewarded. At cafe-Bistro Au Bonnet d’Ane, we were treated to outstanding service and delicious food—plus some great beers! We walked in for dinner on a weeknight during the Christmas holiday week with our 11 year old son. We enjoyed the hearty home made soup, burger, and grilled cheese. We liked it so much we seriously considered returning the next morning for brunch!!!

We were looking for a cup of decaf and found this hidden gem. We loved that it was filled with lots of locals. My veggie omelette was perfectly cooked paired with potatoes, croissant and a delicious tiny smoothie. My husband was equally satisfied with his breakfast sandwich, the generous portions and the decaf coffee! Worth the walk and wait.
