We went to this restaurant for a work lunch and were promptly seated by friendly staff who provided us with menus and water. There were many Italian options available, but we all decided to go with pizzas. I chose the Boerewors Pizza (South African sausage), which was delicious with chunks of sausage, chilli, jalapenos, tomato, and cheese. The South African chutney that came with it added a sweet touch that balanced out the spicy flavors. My colleagues also enjoyed their pizzas and had positive things to say about the meal. I arrived mid-morning, walking in through the open door, oblivious to the fact that I was one hour early for lunch. Not to worry, although without their chef, they offered to make me a pizza. I accepted and chose a coffee to be starting with. They brought me water and my pizza came very quickly. It was one of the better ones i have had, with much in the way of olives, mushrooms, and capsicum. I will come back another time to try their pasta or risotto.
Fantastic I can always rely on Cafe Rosco for my Friday night wind down. Their food and service is fantastic. Huge thanks to the guys on Friday. My order was slightly wrong (first time ever) so they personally delivered double what was missing and offered my money back. With such amazing service and great quality food we will always be back. One with the lot is my fav pizza.
Go in for a top feed, great little place. Friendly staff, awesome pizza and pasta. Cosy atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you are hungry. Great location close to transportation and the botanical gardens. Good value fore money. My wife and I had the boerewours pizza, awesome with extra chilli. I had the gnocchi very good.
