I was traveling in Germany during Advent with some cousins and their spouses, and we stopped for a bite to eat around 11:00 a.m. The Cafe Uv is on a side street, so it was not crowded like the cafes on the main streets off the Marktplatz. The town was bustling with people visiting the Weihnachtsmarkt, so finding a quiet place off to the side was a bonus. The offerings at that time of day were limited apfel Kuchen, Kaesekuchen, and Schwarzwaelderkirschtorte. We all chose the apfel Kuchen, and it was an excellent choice. It was by far the best Kuchen I've ever had, with a wonderful, not too sweet caramel glaze and slightly crunchy apples. I don't know how the rest of the menu is, but this one...
