Eigentlich geht das gar nicht, ein Cafe-Konditorei am Stadtrand zu führen, weil sich kaum ein Fussgänger hierher verirrt, und die Autos vorbeifahren. Trotzdem ist das Cafe Zeller in St. Blasien immer gut besucht. Und zwar deshalb, weil es Geheimtipp ist und man hier einfach die allerfeinsten Kuchen, Torten und Gebäck bekommt. Da gibt es die berühmte Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte nach Originalrezept, mit hausgemachtem Bisquit und reichlich Kirschwasser im Teig, die fantastische Linzertorte und wunderbares Käsegebäck, um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen. Auch die warmen Gerichte und die Eisspezialitäten sind mit Liebe zubereitet und schmecken hervorragend. Lassen Sie sich nicht täuschen von der zunä...
Situated slightly outside the Feldberg Hospital. Especially if you're on foot and don't always want to take the way down to the place, you'll be grateful for this nice and beautiful café located on the hiking trail and brook. Cake and chocolates are very tasty and the latter are also ideal as a gift. The atmosphere is not as hectic as in part in the local core and the service is rather unobtrusive. This makes you feel good at yourself with some reading at its café and Black Forest Kirsch. A place I find during every spa stay in St. Blasien. I haven't tried the hot dishes yet, but it sounds solid.
Habe selber als Konditor im Jahre 1968 dort bei Anton Zeller ein Jahr ( Sommer und Wintersaison gearbeitet. Dort habe ich viel gelernt vorallem die Herstellung von Pralinen und die echte Schwarzwälder Sahnetorte die ich bei einem Besuch 2015 im Cafe Zeller vermißt habe. Die jetzige Besitzerin war sehr distanziert und mundfaul, (wir waren die einzigen Gäste) Draußen die Rasenflächen und der Teich könnten pflege gebrauchen. Die Cafeeinrichtung war sauber und gepflegt.Leider war die Kuchentheke dieselbe wie 1968.

בית קפה משפחתי, כבר 50 שנה מכינים עוגות , הגענו בעצתו של בעל הצימר שלנו שאמר שעדיף על בתי הקפה בעיר ואכן צדק, באנו בוקר אחד לקפה ועוגה, ישבנו בחוץ בנוף המדהים ועוד פעם בערב לארוחה שגם היא הייתה טובה, האווירה נחמדה, קצת בעיתי שלא דוברים אנגלית, אבל נעזרנו בחברה של הבן שדיברה מצויין אנגלית ואפילו ביום השני הביאה לנו תפריט מתורגם, שווה כל שווה כל יורו
After a great, cool November hiker in the partly sunny, partly nebulized forest area around St Blasien, we returned with 12 people to Café Zeller and received immediately with open arms Quick 2 tables and after 5 minutes the first coffees and cakes in portion and quality came far above the average in the area We probably come here more often!
I would call the ambience at Café Zeller as an 80s coffee house chic. The cake is searched at the entrance and if you want to eat it directly at the café, it is then brought to the table. There are classic coffee options and various teas for choice. A solid café with delicious cakes and homemade chocolates!
Etwas außerhalb von St.Blasien liegt das Café Zeller. Es gibt leckere Kuchen und Gebäck sowie diverse Kaffeespezialitäten . Man bekommt auch einige kleine Gerichte und Kaltgetränke. Im Sommer sitzt man draußen im grünen.
