First we had some freshly baked hot pretzels, which were delicious! We ordered a mixed salad soup, a children's dish and for our main course schnitzel and pork filet. All were good and more than enough. I was curious about the "Hungarian Saurkirschen mit Mohn Strudel", but because of the size previous courses I couldn't eat it anymore. I told our host this and he gave us some so we could eat it for breakfast the following morning. That was so kind! Plus is was really yummy too!!! The service was very welcoming and friendly also towards our son. We'd love to come back when in Neustift again :)
Very bad experience in this "hungarian" restaurant. Food was below average, almost none hungarian specialties. Service was one of the worst in Austria ever experienced. Reastaurant is above Billa shop and it was recommended to us but we will never go there again and also do not recommend to visit. Soup was not fresh, we asked for some tomatos, there were none available. Waitress said she is too busy to explain menu options etc. Sorry for them :(
We ate here on our first night in Neustift. The menu was varied and the food was good. They have an outside terrace with nice views of the mountains.
Excellent quality and service. Varied menu with many choices and deliciously prepared. Many local Austrian dishes of the highest quality
