I've refered to him as tent man for twenty years, and it's the same person. Amazingly friendly, and very popular amongst the nearby traders. Going to st Nicholas Market, Bristol? There 's seating outside the kiosk, right next to centuries-old metal posts with tops that make tyrm look like birdc tables. These arr the Nails where corn traders would hammer out their deals. They are the origin of the phrase cash on the nail . The caffe takes contactless as well as cash. disposable cups and plates but a nice place to be in a sunny day amongst the city bustle. The toasties are good. I had sausages and cheese.
We love Caffe Exchange, Sean is here 6 days a week, come rain or shine, but always with a smile. This is the best place in Bristol for al fresco coffee and the snacks are also excellent. We just hope he keeps on trucking for another 30 years!
Cannot rate the place high enough. I go there quite often and know the bloke by name. A very common stop for staff working in the area.
