I am a huge fan of Caffe Nero and always rate it as the top choice for a coffee from all chains. The Newport branch has been a regular for past couple of weeks as I've been visiting in the area. The warm welcome, the excellent coffee and ambient music. A really enjoyable atmosphere to relax with a coffee. I'd bring your hiking boots though if you need the toilet. They're about 56miles away. Only a small exaggeration. They're just up the stairs and a long corridor. Disabled ones are available on ground level though. Also sheltered outside seating is available for those lovely sunny days.
Although I typically avoid chain coffee shops, while in Newport I found that I could trust Cafe Nero for a great cup of coffee. The fact that they don't charge extra for soya milk is a huge bonus. We stopped by twice during our stay and both times the staff were wonderful, especially a woman with pinkish hair. Thank you for the great service.
As someone who goes into this particular store 3/4 times a week, I thought I should write a review. The coffee is quite simply the best as far as I'm concerned add to that the first class, personal service that you get every time you walk in and that's the reason so many people go to this store day in day out. First class.
As a regular in here. I was not happy yesterday to see a dog allowed inside. The previous manager Tina was adamant this was against their policy. I hope this was a one off. I don't agree with animals in restaurants. There are plenty of animal friendly places to go, but not here please ! Book a table now
I experienced the best flat white I've ever had at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is delightful. It's a relaxing place with strong and tasty coffee. I will definitely visit again when in the area. Keep up the excellent work!
Cafe Nero I newport is in the bottom half of the town ,it has excellent staff, and sevice , not forgetting the great coffee, ,would be nice if it relocated to the new friars walk , more,central,
The wait for coffee is always too long, the tables are always dirty, and the coffee never tastes consistent. Cardiff Nero is a much better option.
